St Albans City Youth U10 girls football team

Our milk rounds are grounded in local communities. We’re part of a neighbourhood, not just passing through. This is something we want to really bring to life and support more in years to come. Over the past 12 months we’ve continued our partnership with Hubbub UK, where customers can purchase a ‘Virtual Pint,’ and donate the value of their paused orders to the Hubbub Community fridge network.

Although a small gesture, we are delighted to continue sponsoring the kit for the under 10 girls from the St. Albans City Youth Team. The girls have had an amazing start to this year’s football season and are sitting at a 5-0 win streak.

St Albans City Youth Community FC was founded in 1971. Their vision remains to ‘inspire a love for the game’, providing opportunities for children and young people to engage equally in sport in a positive and caring environment devoid of any form of discrimination.

‘City Youth’ is an FA 3* Accredited Community Football Club and a Registered Charity (no. 1089343) The Club now has in excess of 90 teams, over 1,400 players across our 3 distinct but equally valued sections: Girls, Inclusive and Boys. Our activities are supported by our Board of Trustees, Management Committee, over 300 volunteers and now due to our size and scale, four full-time employees.

The Club continues to increase in size year on year and also to expand its wide-ranging community delivery in both St Albans and the surrounding areas. They operate 7 days a week, across a total of 11 sites and we reach a combined total of approximately 2,000 participants per week aged 4-74.

If you would like to reach out to us about a community project, please contact our Customer Service team and we will respond in kind.
