We have a sunny week ahead, so it’s only right to make an ice cream sundae!!
Adding a little nostalgia to the heatwave with the ultimate Ice Cream Sundae, made using our banana, chocolate and strawberry milkshakes. Three creamy no-churn ice creams stacked into one dreamy dessert, then topped with whipped cream, sour cherry jam and chunks of triple chocolate brownie. Best of all? It’s incredibly easy to make using your Modern Milkman delivery.
Ingredients (per flavour)
- 250ml double cream
- 150ml Modern Milkman milkshake (banana, chocolate or strawberry)
- 75g caster sugar
To serve
- Whipped cream
- Sour cherry jam
- Triple chocolate brownie, crumbled
Method
- In a large bowl, whisk the double cream and caster sugar until the sugar has dissolved and the cream has thickened to soft peaks.
- Gently whisk in the milkshake until smooth and fully combined.
- Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight. Repeat for each flavour.
- When ready to serve, leave the ice cream at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to soften slightly.
- Scoop one scoop of each flavour into a sundae glass or bowl. Top with whipped cream, a generous drizzle of sour cherry jam and plenty of crumbled triple chocolate brownie.
