Did you know that most toilet paper is made from cutting down virgin trees? And around 1 million trees are cut down every day to make regular TP.
Now, that didn’t sit right with the founders of Who Gives A Crap, so they decided to create household paper products that are made without virgin trees.
That’s why they use materials like recycled paper and bamboo to create their products. Bamboo is a fast-growing grass that takes less resources to grow than trees, and creates for a soft and absorbent paper.
Toilets and sanitation for all
Who Gives A Crap doesn’t stop at making sustainable products. They help others as well! They donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in developing countries.
To date, they’ve donated over 10 million Aussie dollars to their charity partners at WaterAid, Sanergy, Lwala Community Alliance, Shining Hope For Communities, iDE, Splash, WSUP and Water For People.
